@MAS! I was dealing with slight chills and I was informed that there's no blanket, this wonderful lady Izan took the initiative to bring me a cup of hot water to warm myself and periodically checked if I'm feeling better. This level of hospitality deserves to be highlighted.i pic.twitter.com/fX3sEH4Mot
So, apart from the food, fuel, care worker & NHS staff shortages, rampant inflation, farming & fishing decimation, hospitality problems, loss of freedom to live freely on our own continent, £36bn debt & dividing the country into 2 angry tribes, what has Brexit ever done for us?
Privileged to attend GEDII meeting & present the
#surgery perspective on #IBD care in front of a specialized audience and of many young colleagues eager to learn. Great discussion & interactive meeting, fantastic hospitality & organisation. Congratulations & Thank you Fernando! pic.twitter.com/S6NZuAfHar
And to be clear, restaurants, food service, retail, hospitality are abusive as industries. I've never worked in a place that wasn't, in addition to the labor exploitation. The actual way that we were treated as employees was dehumanizing, cruel and exploitative.
